Question: machine guns were banned in the 1930s. High capacity, rapid fire guns meant to kill as many as possible in as short a time as possible. What is the difference between them and the modern AR or AK? Nothing, as far as I can see. Lawmakers: get on this

The main mechanical difference is that the automatics keep firing as long as you just pull the trigger and hold whereas the semi's require a trigger pull for each round. But the trigger pulls are now so short and sensitive that anyone with any experience can fire off many many rounds/minute

No, they are not. Machine guns are automatic; AR's are semi automatic. I own guns; have shot an AR. You read wrong. As I won't argue facts here, this is my last attempt to try to educate those reading your thread.
