Yes, it was horrific if you were working on her campaign and it was NOT just coming from the far right either.

Absolutely. The number of liberals worried about whether America was "ready for a female president" was telling. And whenever someone expressed concerns about her "likeability" they might have well said she's "unladylike." These attitudes are so ingrained.

It was that and a lot worse than that too. I won't ever forget it.

I hosted a Hillary fundraiser for Americans in Vienna, Austria. As I searched for Hillary images online to use with emailed invitations, was shocked w onslaught of horrid photos I found—Hillary w fangs, screaming w bloodshot eyes, being attacked, dead. After 100s, found a good likeness. Frightening.

I likewise quit FB at the same time and for the same reason. I was so disappointed in certain progressive-minded friends I had who fell for these whack-ass conspiracy theories about Hilary Clinton. Blew my mind. But I guess decades of RW hate and some newfangled Russian propaganda did the job.

I quit Facebook because of all of the paid Russian trolls in '16. Not really helpful to anyone but me, but the density of the attacks was just that overwhelming.
