On 60 Minutes, Lesley Stahl introduced Marjorie Taylor Greene by saying she is, "known to be smart and fearless and has a history of believing in conspiracy theories."

How can you be smart or fearless if you have irrational paranoia about things that don't exist?

That #60Minutes platformed an admitted insurrectionist & election denier is part of why we're in this mess. Drip by drip, interview by interview, dangerous extremism is being mainstreamed & so we're becoming enured to it.

Shame on #LesleyStahl

While I don’t want to excuse Stahl, I think a lot of the vitriol aimed at her should go to the producers and writers of the show. The show would not have taken place if they hadn’t okayed it (and possibly instigated it).

Bingo! Great point. It should be disqualifying… and yet while this is true, there are otherwise smart people who believe things and will defend things, that can’t possibly be true.

She is the exact opposite. She is ignorant and fearful which is an incredibly deadly combination especially in a country that has more guns than people.
