Slowly reading through The Anatomy of Story. I read this a few years ago. But, it's such a good re-read. There are aspects of this I understand now that I didn't understand then.

What #writingCraft books have you found yourself re-reading?

Haven't read that one yet, and so just added it to my cart!

I love Save the Cat and really got a lot out of Matt Bell's Refuse to Be Done, which I've revisited a few times since it came out last year for different phases of my revisions.

Save the Cat is one I've revisited too! I especially like the Transformation Test on page 75 of that book!

The War of Art by Pressfield is a classic; for writing and all creative pursuits.

This is one I haven't read. I'm going to add it to my list to find and read!

I re-read Story Genius and Save The Cat a lot. But I haven't been doing that in the past year because of constant revisions. 😅

I had a hard time with Anatomy of a Story the first time I read it. Maybe I should give it another try.

I know I am getting much more out of it this time around. It's worth trying. I feel like I've grown into this craft book.
