I’m a nobody. Granted, I’m also a criminal defense attorney with more than 25 years experience, and I’ve shared this idea w/a few “vocal lawyers.” What if, and I don’t know NY law, the underlying crime is Conspiracy?? At least in PA, that’s a crime in and of itself and could aggravate.

I tend not to read that particular site… it’s glitchy and rarely adds much to my own thought process but I know a lot of people find it helpful. My comment related to what I smell in the NYC case as an “in the weeds” practicing attorney. In my world, mitigating and aggregating are terms of art
