This week on IG, I shared a blog post that I wrote in 2019 and it resonated so much more this time around. It was all about how body acceptance can still be an issue in jewelry, even when we think we are being fair. Basically, we need to do away with having "standard sample sizes" for rings🧵

"Standard size" for rings is pretty meaningless. I might even argue that we don't truly know average ring sizes, because some designers' obsessions with having a sample size leave out many consumers. 🧵

Put another way, if someone wears a size 9 ring, but your samples are only a size 6, then you've left this potential consumer out of the shopping process because they can't even try it on. They skip buying a ring entirely and you think "The average ring size is a 6 because no one buys a size 9🧵
