Gerrymandering is a distraction to keep you from realizing that the real issue is representation ratio.

Congressional districts are supposed to have 35-70K constituents.

Fixing the the house at 435 representatives has led to district averages of 766K.

There should be 4,750 representatives.

As the saying goes, it's easy to win elections when you get to pick your voters.

Agree. It has been used by both parties.
However; gerrymandering gave us MTG

It matters which party is using it offensively and which defensively

If both parties were offered to stop gerrymandering 100%, with all districts being drawn by sound & fair mathematical algorithms, which would say "Yes", which "No"?

Ds would accept & Rs reject

Don't "both-sides" this
