I don’t usually preorder books, because I read almost exclusively on my e-reader and books take 3 seconds to download, but is that a good way to help our favourite authors out? Is it a key metric? I’ve seen a lot of authors encourage pre-ordering.

Cause I’ll start pre-ordering if I have to 😂

Those sound like good reasons to me! Do ebook preorders get evaluated the same?
