Hey Spouters, who here has noticed a serious decline in user-experience at Twitter. In the past few days, Elon Musk has made a declining experience feel even worse. My Verified notification feed, which I used a lot, is now worthless. Great business move, eh?

I *only* use Xtwit with private lists, which does actually provide a reverse-chronological feed of the included accounts

This has still degraded some

I've also been effectively silenced (near-0 views), even when a post gets 50% likes/views

Can't help. I quit twitter (or whatever it is called now) when Spoutible released the android app.

Put the same spout on Twitter and see how many bots and negative responses you get. Musks anything goes is driving down good content and increasing hate speech. They do next to nothing to curb that sppech.

I left Twitter earlier this year, though I wasn't very active when there. When I left, my feed was the same thing over and over again. Boring. Here we have a @BannedBookClub (run by me...). Plus Canadians. Anyway, it's nicer here.

I used to rely on Twitter for current affairs updates by journalists and the White House, as well as medical professionals like Dr. Feigl-Ding and Laurie Garrett. I am repulsed by the comments to almost every reasonable Tweet. More and more decent souls are migrating here, so I need Twitter less.

Twitter propaganda & disinformation:👆👆👆
Twitter usefulness for honest exchange of ideas: nearly zero. It's 90% right-wing noise now.

Twitter as we knew it no longer exists.

Glad you're here, David, you were one of my favorite reads on deadbird.

It's mostly the same for me, but that's because I use it primarily for specific information (political news / commentary). I don't expect much real interaction.

Much different than Spoutible from that perspective. I come here for actual engagement.

I've seen a lot more anti-Ukraine rhetoric float to the top. Allowing Russian propaganda while mis-labeling credible journalism ... is everything Vlad could ask for.

I’ve spent way too much time there the last couple days just blocking paid blue clones. It’s dying, or at least becoming another truth social

being asked to pay for the blue check of shame

and requiring some/most advertisers to pay for verification before buying advertising on that platform

are two more reasons to move one's attention elsewhere

Musk's moves don't make sense

Totally. I just wish other folks, such as yourself, would make the move.
I think when @cbouzy gets the app ready (hopefully soon) it'll take off like a rocket. (Pun intended).

It certainly does appear that way. He's made one terrible decision after another. Stupidity, bad intentions, or both?
