With Spoutible's threads, you will be able to edit each individual spout, unlike Twitter which disables editing after you start a thread.

We are responsible for what we echo, the reason editing was not allowed on twitter was to stop people changing their tweet after it had been retweeted several hundred times, what safeguards are in place to prevent this?

Two things:

1. Spouts can only be edited for 7 minutes, after which they are fixed.

2. There is a notice that a spout has been edited, and if you click the notice, you can see the original text.

If someone tries to pull a fast one, they can be reported and suspended/removed.

I knew about the seven minute time limit, but I didn’t realize you could see the original spouts! Lol, I’m always going back and adding hashtags. 🤭
