I love #gardenspoutible but every single person in this magical group is way above my level. There are gardeners on Spoutible who are like, "Wow, I wasn't sure about these since I planted the bulbs in a hurricane but look," and I'm like, "Wow, I bought this plant a week ago and it's still alive."

You have company, never fear. I get surprised when something I planted and forgot about is still alive under all the weeds.

I’m a pretty bad gardener, myself. I just like to get my hands dirty and see if anything will actually bear fruit (or veggies or flowers). Follow me for all the mistakes you don’t have to make and haven’t made yet!

A couple of years ago, I had a vegetable garden started from seeds. The whole enterprise yielded about five green beans and a few pea-sized peppers before suddenly everything mysteriously died.

Someone out there is thinking, "I wonder if
I am capable of buying a plant and keeping it alive for more than a week." You are now in the mix with the rest of us, girl! You got this!
