Yeah, but they won't give us Novavax, which protects people better, and for longer, against Omicron lineage variants, including XBB variants, which are the top 3 circulating in the US right now.

I know, it's really frustrating. I'm glad at least that higher risk people have the option to finally get a more frequent booster, but still.
Wild to me how many vaccines / treatments are made here, but trialled in other countries due to lack of gvt $$$

Our taxes paid for Novavax and all the other vaccines, but we can't even get Novavax.
When the Public Health Emergency ends on May 11, people will be shocked at the cost of booster vaxes.
Uninsured Moderna/Pfizer vaxes will be $130 per jab.
It cost $3 to manufacture.
