Fantastic!
I was lucky enough to interview a handful of the Tuskegee Airmen including Gen. B.O. Davis, Jr. in 1991 for my senior thesis. I love watching them receive even more honors and recognition, long overdue in most instances.

I would have loved to sit down and had a beer with them. What heroes!

Gen. Davis lived in D.C., so we spoke by phone. The others I met in the home of Vesta Pruitt, the sister of the 99th's ace pilot, Wendell. Ms. Pruitt had just unveiled a beautiful mural honoring black aviators at Lambert Int'l in St. Louis. She served tea, not beer, though. 😉
