Maybe they do but with Roberts statements and the rest of them with a nothing-to-see-here approach, this has a feel of business as usual for them.

If Roberts was worried about perception, he'd have an investigation, except he's done it too.

They care about public perception, ESPECIALLY Roberts. People get stirred up enough, those changes may well happen. It's just not going to be anytime soon.

I called and started expressing my displeasure and she transferred me to a recording saying that the SCOTUS does not have a public comments line. Maybe it's time they do.

I used to do this when I thought it made any difference. 🙁 I’ve yet to have any absurd policy or decision changed as a result of an email to my elected officials. I would love to know if anyone has.
