Anyone else watching Queen Charlotte? I'm so enjoying it. It's a beautiful love story, and a wonderful take on the very real history of England's Black Queen and her troubled love, the "mad" King George.

I am four episodes in and am really enjoying it! I'm just at the part where George's mental illness is revealed. I'm looking forward to seeing how that storyline evolves. Also, the moment that Lady Danbury celebrates her husband's passing - 🤣

I have 2 episodes left. The first 4 were glorious. The juxtaposition of Charlotte and George's love story, Brimsley and Reynolds, then Queen Charlotte in the "present" dealing with her sons cavorting around and not finding wives, it's incredible.

Watch mid-90s Helen Miren as Charlotte on DVD, maybe at your public library. It's the play that ran at V&A Hall for years. IMDb: : The Madness of King George

I'm just getting into it. I watched the first episode the other night. I love her description of the dress her brother makes her wear and her spunky attitude. The guy who follows behind her at all times 🤣🤣🤣

I haven't yet as we are on holiday and my husband is here being a loveable obstruction. I have always loved Queen Charlotte and will watch any account if her life. Bought the huge books of letter she and Marie Antoinette passed between each other, too.

Yes, you didn't learn about Charlotte for all the obvious reasons. But also, very little attention is given to the spouses of the English monarchs. Besides Prince Phillip and the many wives of Henry VIII, how many spouses can you name?

It is the best Bridgerton season and the most ambitious. I wept my heart out at the end. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👑 Super well done.

I got partway into episode 4 a couple days ago and stopped. I'm kinda afraid to keep watching because I know it'll be heartbreaking. 😭

I agree with you completely it is better than Bridgerton because it's more in depth about relationships, love and what's done for love. It triggered my high empathy and understanding button and kept me involved to the end and beyond. Well done
