I think saying a democratic society becomes anti-capitalist is not true. A democratic society doesn't want 1% of the population to continue to gain more wealth at the expense of those in the middle, low middle, and low income people. That's the difference. They have to pay their share of taxes.

I think it only becomes anti-capitalist to the extent that it reduces the cycle of capital extracting value and life from the poor without regard for their humanity. Heavily regulated capitalism.

If heavily regulated you mean health, safety and welfare laws, I understand what you mean. Also, paying low wages while raking in huge profits.

Quite true. Why isn't the government suing more to break up the monopolies. I think the law are still on the books, so there's no reason for them to ignore them.
