I think saying a democratic society becomes anti-capitalist is not true. A democratic society doesn't want 1% of the population to continue to gain more wealth at the expense of those in the middle, low middle, and low income people. That's the difference. They have to pay their share of taxes.

And it's the monopoly factor which stifles others from entering markets and limits the choices available to consumers.

Quite true. Why isn't the government suing more to break up the monopolies. I think the law are still on the books, so there's no reason for them to ignore them.
