It's 89⁰ out there. It's finally warm enough to plant zinnias. I have row 3 made. Just need to sprinkle seeds and then rake it with a leaf rake. The seeds are supposed to be barely covered. I have a triangular hoe that I make a shallow trench with. One pass with a leaf rake will barely cover.

During last summer I alternated between 27 vases to the hospital in West Plains one week and 24 vases to Cox hospital Branson and 12 vases to Cox clinic Nixa the next week. This year not so many trips to West Plains 50 miles away. They return less than half the vases. The Cox facilities return all

Too bad we don’t live in the same area - I’ve done flower arrangements for hospice here and lead flower arranging classes at nursing homes. Your bonanza of zinnias would be SO MUCH FUN! Bless you for your zinnia bouquets, I’m sure they are cherished.
