It's sad how many marginalized people not only pull the ladder up after they gain success, but actively engage in speech and behaviors aimed to detract from legitimate issues in their communities, and sow division between marginalized communities, just so they can be seen as "one of the Good Ones".

It seems to me that a lot of the erasure of Black influence in K-Pop comes from the companies instead of the performers (looking at Hybe), but I stan BTS and Seventeen, two groups that don't shy away from that issue.
