My very good friend died yesterday at age 64, seven months shy of retirement. She never got to enjoy her much anticipated retirement because she needed the health insurance. Fuck those who want to raise the retirement age to 70 and keep health insurance tied to employment. ????????

Yup... I feel ya! Very good friend is now battling cancer... 1yr shy of retirement... chemo started last month.. we know nothing at this point. Just rotten how they have to pay for insurance & she can't do her work. Great system we got going here!

But the pharmaceutical companies, the insurance companies and the health care company directors will still make millions. Borders on criminal.

Yes it really is. Insurance is/was supposed to be a shared liability amongst policy holders. Get 30 million people to send you $300 a month = 9billon a month. Just an example but you get my drift. Insurance premiums pay over priced executives and lawyers. Eats up much of what we get in return. Ugh!!
