Oh. My. God. $25,000. It’s not enough for even one person whose home was destroyed, let alone for 5,000. Norfolk Southern must be shamed into oblivion.

Norfolk Southern, the railway company responsible for an apocalyptic plume of gas rose over East Palestine, Ohio, has offered a $25,000 donation to assist the area’s nearly 5,000 residents who were ordered to evacuate their homes, or face death

The media hasn't reported on any homes destroyed. The lawsuit filed by residents is for health monitoring and undetermined damages. Hard to figure what that would total so soon after the wreck. Residents would be wise to hold off on settlement.

In response to Clifton Cann.
I didn’t say their homes “collapsed,” I said they were destroyed. By being made unlivable and unsellable.
