Had an interesting talk with some friends last night and wanted to ask: How do fellow #writers think as they write/read? Is it in words or do you see images/movies?

I actually have a really hard time visualizing stuff as an image. I definitely think in words and hear words.

Mixture. Sometimes it’s like an AI visualization in my head or a dreamlike sequence that I try to interpret. Dialogue becomes voices in my head, clear enough until I’m carrying on the conversation out loud in the shower or on walks

I always see it first, and then write what I see.

When writing I think in words. But when reading words I see in images.

Both but definitely word heavy.

Looking at it from a reader's perspective, my son and I absorb books differently.
I love to read the words and for me that creates the image. My son doesn't enjoy reading but loves an audio book because for him, that creates the image. I wonder if its the same for writers? Audio v. visual learners
