I was scribbling ideas for a SciFi tale about Gene Roddenberry’s ideals surrounding Star Trek. Where human scientists finally figure out that we are already On the Mothership. The starfleet council is anxiously awaiting our collective awareness of this, Then we get the Vulcans. 😏🤭

Interesting theory for sure.
First contact will almost assuredly be accidentally though.
We would accidentally pick up an alien communication or they ours. We've been broadcasting TV since the 36 Olympics, radio even longer. Anyone within 87 light years could watch us on delay at their leisure
