The American Bar Association has voted to support a permanent code of ethics for the Supreme Court.
Another step toward weeding out the corruption in our judicial system.

Shame them into it, if that’s even possible.

Can this be applied retroactively? There are several justices that are corrupt and should be removed.

Chief Justice Roberts must be SO proud to preside over the very first SCOTUS perceived to be so corrupt that the public is demanding ethics reform.

Weird that it took us over 200 years to get to this (low)point.

Should've already been enacted. Some SCOTUS Justices, amongst them the Chief, have put themselves & or their spouses above the Rule of Law or any Ethics.

That's good. 5 members of this SCOTUS are irredeemably corrupt and sinister.

it would seem to me that Chief Justice Roberts, in an effort to "save" his court and his reputation, would embrace a code of ethics. its a low bar to reach. fighting it says quite a bit about their corruption.

A teeny tiny step... as there's no requirement for Justices to be members of the Bar, much less even lawyers. The only thing stopping them from being as corrupt as they want to be is the Senate supermajority. Which can't even agree whether it's day or night.
