I was lucky enough to be born allergic to rhubarb & real licorice so I've never had them, heard nothing but horrible things though

Not missing anything with rhubarb, stringy and sour, yuck. Licorice, on the other hand, if you mean BLACK licorice, is just delicious. I know I’m in the minority on that one though.

You definitely are. My mother loved it. At Easter, she would buy the bags of all-licorice jelly beans... so my daddy loved rhubard pie and my mother loved licorice jelly beans. I was clearly switched out with a rhubarb-licorice-loving baby at birth...🤣

My dad loved rhubarb AND licorice. I missed the rhubarb gene. 😂

Yes, black licorice. For the longest time I even stayed away from Twizzlers but eventually my best friend convinced me to try the cherry Pull N Peel kind, even looked up each ingredient on the package & showed me, it wasn't bad but still wouldn't buy it for myself to & never had OG Twizzlers either

What a cruel joke to misname something so delicious that has no correlation whatsoever to something so horrible and totally messing with the psyches of millions of kids. LOL
