They’re not mad you’re honoring/celebrating Juneteenth….

They’re mad they can’t prevent you from celebrating/honoring Juneteenth

Our joy and remembrance of anything reminds them our joy isn’t predicated on their acceptance and approval.

That realization destroys supremacy.

“They’re always protesting and complaining about America, why aren’t they ever happy?”

We celebrate and get happy.

“Not that way!!”

“Why don’t they just celebrate the 4th like *real Americans?”

Been doing that since forever, too.

“Stop living in past. Nobody is a slave.”

“My family didn’t own slaves!”

“This holiday is racist!”

So you’ve been protesting these?

Right?

You can enjoy your day off, if you get one, and if you don’t, blessed silence is always free and available.

Honestly? Pretty much ignoring and/or ignorant of them. I live in Texas and never heard of Confederate Heroes Day. WTF? Next up: Storm the Capitol Day?

Does any other country celebrate it's traitors?

That's some serious bs by Kentucky, they weren't even part of the confederacy!
