I asked the Spoutible community about adult content on this platform, and the users overwhelmingly said they didn't want it.

I'm not sure I want to stay. Spoutible touted itself as a true twitter replacement, a place we could all be safer.

Then it appears to have left sex workers, kinksters, and other groups at specific risk of harassment & abuse online, to fend for themselves on twitter.

Disappointingly judgemental!

I'm sure there's a way to do it responsibly with the proper guidelines. Sexy workers garner such big followings and do their own heavy marketing for whatever platform they're on, this is a missed opportunity to embrace a community equally eager to leave Twitter

That's where I'm at. Personally, I don't want to randomly come across someone's nudes or sex acts being performed, but I don't have a problem with "adult content" being on Spoutible. Some type of designation or warning on those types of accounts could be a good solution in the future.
