Ortega started every FA Cup match though, and they haven't conceded a goal, right? Was probably the deal to Ortega that he could start all of the Cup matches I imagine.

Thanks! That's kind, but we also have a state backed club who almost certainly financially doped our way to being the relentless club we are now. Hoping that next year you'll be right back in it. Saka, Odegaard, Martinelli, and Saliba are a hell of a core to keep building around.

City fan here. That's a tough way the season ended for you. You guys had some real magic there for awhile. And while you are totally entitled to feel shit about the last few weeks, at least you can take solace in how pathetic Spurs are.

I agree. I haven't been a City supporter for nearly that long, but today may have been one of the single finest executions of a game plan I've ever seen. The midfield passing was somehow perfect but never felt wasted or empty. Absolutely exquisite form today.

Just gotta keep things rolling and treat the Champion's League with the same no mercy attitude as the Prem.

Yup. As a City fan, the only concern at this point is whether or not to run up the goal differential or play in third gear the rest of the way to avoid injury.

Was for a nonprofit client, and Google's solution was that they should upgrade to a paid Business Account ($0 -> $200+/month), because the feature that should have been available according to their documentation, was actually incorrect.

Bummer about Edwin Diaz! As a Red Sox fan who was too young to remember '86, I always have well wishes for the Mets out of our common loathing of the Yankees.

@keithlaw where does Bohm rate in terms of his power now? He seems like one of those guys who in the juiced ball era could have hit 30+ HRs at this stage of his career, but in the post JBE(?) might not have much more than a solid hit tool that's not enough to outweigh his defensive liabilities

I'm a big fan of Pep just telling the other City players to just shoot anywhere near the goal and Haaland will somehow find a way to score. Never seen anything like GjoalBjot3000 before.

I used to see this quite a bit. Usually speaks to an "accidental IT" person who hung on about a decade too long at a company or organization. Usually a really nice guy, but just out of their depth and resisted modernization efforts.

Man City = Alabama - Perpetual front runner with the best coach. But a little USC in its financial "creativity" if you will.

Spurs = Michigan - Always good, but always find a creative way to break your heart.

Liverpool = Oregon - Fun to watch, though chaotic for better and worse.

Arsenal aren't a bad comp for the Cornhuskers. A once elite program that has since fallen mostly on harder times, though they are now looking great again and should win the league this year. Fun to watch too.

Man U = Notre Dame - Historic team that is loved by supporters, hated by everyone else

Hahahahaha. I understand. I would recommend a big six/seven team probably. Are there any American sports leagues you currently follow? I could try and give you some analogies of the Prem League teams to American teams (example: Man United are the Yankees).

If you want to root for an underdog (non-big six/seven), it's probably a good idea to root for one that has its act together with good management, coaching, etc. Brighton, Brentford, Aston Villa, and maybe Fulham would be part of this crew. None are likely to win the title, but are fun to watch.

So you will probably need to determine if you want to root for a Big Six (probably big seven now) team. This is Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Spurs, and Newcastle arriving-ish. These teams are all financially advantaged and will be competitive for a title/top 4 most years (1/2)

Yeah, I'll never understand the Elon worship. I am one of those who feels a lot of regret for owning a Tesla product (solar panels). Wouldn't have gone that route had I known he was such an ass. Let's just hope that @cbouzy doesn't turn out to be some kind of kitten murderer.

I understand, but he only encroached after several of the Chelsea players did as well. Seems asinine that the Chelsea players can encroach without consequence because they didn't touch the ball. VAR got it right, but the rule itself is dumb.
