Now newsworthy as home of Senator John Fetterman, Braddock (PA) was where my grandfather served as a church pastor. He also served as air-raid warden for that area in the 1940s. Looks stern and #sober in the photo though I can testify to his easy and frequent laughter.

Locomotive in my neighborhood, on the slow test track originating at the former GE Transportation (now Wabtec) manufacturing plant (thus the ease of snapping a photo). They are producing an all-electric locomotive (it's PINK!) but no luck getting a snap of it as yet.

May 2020 view, Baughman Rock Overlook, Ohiopyle SP, Youghiogheny River #valley , SW PA. Six road miles, 4 crow miles, from Fallingwater. Overlook is rather well hidden, and one stands on a huge rock slab that tilts wildly incongruously to the natural slope of the mountain.
