I want to inform the Spoutible community that we have been tracking certain individuals who have targeted our platform since its launch. We have been quietly collecting evidence for over a year, and in the coming weeks, we plan to take legal action against two individuals in the US.

We are preparing to update our community rules and policies, which will now include a section explicitly forbidding the coordinated behavior of multiple accounts repeatedly piling on other users. This has been a major complaint on and off this platform, and now we are addressing it.

Now I know how the folks at ChatGPT felt when they had a massive influx of new users at once. We will be working all night adding new servers to handle the load, and hopefully, by morning, things will be back to normal.

🎉Spoutible turned nine months old today, and the trolls said we would be dead after the first month. I want to thank everyone who helped keep Spoutible alive and thriving. Each day we survive is another day the trolls lose.

Dear Mr Bouzy, I just had to say, Spoutible feels like I rolled up to the family home in the village and all my cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews…. the whole clan showed up and we be teasing, playing with each other, challenging one another. From all of us, THANK YOU ♥️. We feel safe.

Has anyone done a How I Found @cbouzy thread yet? That might be fun/interesting. I found him 5+ years ago on Twitter as the result of Malcolm Nance retweeting and otherwise highlighting him. The two of them seemed particularly active in trying to debunk disinformation (from right and left).
