I'm pleased to get some more followers here, but I'm glad I checked. in most cases I like to follow back those who follow me. (Provided they are at least somewhat active here).

Last night I watched The Old Dark House (1932). Still delightfully strange. While James Whale's work is never forgotten because of Bride of Frankenstein, he did other films that were worthwhile.

I will never understand the spectacle that is the NFL Draft. Like, I get curious about who will be picked, but to go and travel there to witness it. No thanks. To each their own! Enjoy it as you see fit, but I will do so from my home.

Next move from Congress- let's ban all photos of pets on the internet and make it a punishable crime.

Of course, I know how important 2024 is and a Tiktok ban even If I think that foolish isn't going to stop me from voting or make me switch who I vote for. However, if you are trying to appeal to younger voters maybe don't go after the things they enjoy and try to destroy them.

I'm not on Tiktok and never plan to be, but banning it is a bad move. It looks ugly. The younger generations are suffering, and the only thing congress agrees on is making their lives worse.

I see a lot of things on the internet telling me I should be sad. I see a lot of things on the internet telling me I should be angry. I don't see a lot of action being taken to resolve things. We need to find ways to take awareness to the next level of action.

From what I'm seeing, you have all those "ultra MAGAts" all upset that we are helping Ukraine. Part of it, I understand. I don't like that the world is in this situation and I sure wish it would stop. That said, if we don't help, things would very soon become MUUUCH worse and even more costly.

Always annoying when you have some energy but not for most things. Like you want to do something more than go to bed, but aren't really sure what to do about it. My go to would be a good book, but my cat isn't having it!

The rest of the apps are something like "new and improved" we can now tell when you're in the bathroom or getting dressed and secretly take a picture of you. Not to worry, we will keep that info to ourselves (or to the highest bidder in 6 months). (Hyperbole)

Since February 2023, the only app/site I see actually doing work to improve itself is Spoutible. Good work @cbouzy and the staff working hard!

This April has been brutal for me. This week alone I became very sick Tuesday morning (on the mend). The ongoing struggle to get my dog to eat seemed to lose out completely. Today he drank and ate food! So the wellness check tomorrow may only be a wellness check! Still work to be done!

Car overheated today- (Fixed it) Car headlight then breaks- (TBD) Slipped in the shower. Chaotic work day. Today had bright spots, but made sure that I never felt too good! Maybe Monday can be smoother.

I was skeptical about X-Men 97 being special, but all my doubts at this point have been put to rest. It has been marvelous and sometimes absolutely brutal!

Yes, I appreciate some older films, but that doesn't mean newer ones don't get some love now and then. The difference is very often these days films are about the largest profits for the lowest amount of money. Many times that means originality and depth are removed for familiarity.

While watching The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948) I see things more and more each time I watch it. This time I focused on the character of Howard. Really see how his wisdom plays a part in the film.

To those who aren't feeling the Uconn win. I do understand. They are among the titans of the game. Though, as someone who was born and raised in Connecticut. No professional teams to root for. The Huskies have always been an exciting team to root for be it the women or the men!

Beware the eclipse! Oh wait, I'm sorry, I meant to say- enjoy the eclipse responsibly and safely. Beware the onslaught of erratic drivers during that time. Because the moon, the sun, aliens, Jesus, and whatever else aren't the problem today. (I mean probably not aliens haha).

I am not at all worried about biblical events or catastrophes on a large scale connecting with the eclipse. I am however more concerned about driving during the eclipse time. Because you know people will be out trying to get a look and "experience" it. Some people will be distracted beyond the
