Beautiful! Whereabouts was this? It's been too many years since I've visited the Oregon coast. Last time was pre-Covid, probably 2015-ish when we spent a few days in Manzanita.

Likely not. Brewers in the 1700s would not have had a vessel that could hold the beer under pressure. Beer was almost always served out of wooden kegs. If you wanted to take some home, it would have been in a pail.

But I don't think there was a Republican Party in 1802. Parties were far less organized than now. But, loosely you had the Democrats or Democratic-Republicans (Thomas Jefferson) and the Federlists (John Adams).
