Posting from the app on a Samsung galaxy tab. Things look nice and seem to be working. I don't use the tab much though so I'll probably still mostly use the website. Happy for the app people though

In response to Kelly Fillbrandt.
When I hear white people use words like “respectful” or “civil” what I hear is “I should be allowed to ignore your anger and frustration. No matter how just or moral your demands, this is my excuse for not listening to you and never holding myself or other white people to account for failing you.”

Seriously people. If you accidentally use a racial slur in public, you use the word all the time in private. I'm 61 and I've never used a racial slur in my life. Why? Because I'm not racist.

It is #NationalBabeRuthDay today!
In his MLB career, he hit 714 homeruns but his first professional homerun was hit in Toronto!
It happened on Sept. 5, 1914 when he played for the Providence Grays.
He not only hit that homerun, but pitched a shoutout against Toronto, winning 9-0

Seeing all the book recommendations is wonderful. I have cards at two libraries, but seem to have lost the ability to read anything longer than a magazine article. Hopefully I can find some of these as audiobooks so I can listen and knit.
