Even MorningJoe this AM was joking about how ridiculous the #MAGA party sounds when they call #POTUS a "socialist" as the Dow hits all-new highs.

It's weird to see Tur there, because she was one of the few to push back at the infamous "Russia, if you're listening..." moment.

Labor unions also give corporations more customers with more money to spend. It's a classic win/win, but because unions mean short-term drops in profits before the economic growth sets in, they'll always be opposed by corporations focused on short term profits.

He had the same business, including a popular TV show, for all those years in between these encounters and his campaign, when he didn't bother to pay the women for silence. I'm sure the prosecution will mention that in closing.

The only way to stop this, however, is with regulation to break up large corporations, so they can't control market prices and earn outrageous profits. Waiting for corporations to act ethically is like waiting for teenagers to stop being randy.

Discussion with younger colleagues when "Mad Men" premiered:

Them: people really didn't smoke that much, did they?
Me: I remember getting minor cigarette burns walking through the mall. You couldn't smoke in stores, but you could in the common areas.
Them: Didn't it smell?
Me: (Rolls eyes)

I'm on my phone right now, so this is from memory, but I don't think there is a drop. At the top of the page, if you see the word cloud, click on the other icon (not letters) and a spout drafting area should appear. I think.

Part of the problem can be seen in my fellow European-derived people defining racism or any kind of bigotry as "wanting to do harm" to a minority group. That means all bigotry is intentional, when much of it is driven by complacency & acceptance of the status quo that happens to benefit you.

My nephews are extremely lucky that their parents planned well in advance and they both did 2 years at community college so the overall cost of their educations was lower than average. Neither has a lick of debt for college.

As offensive as the argument is - and it really is - I'm reminded of what the Meidas Touch Legal AF podcast hosts said last night about Todd Blanche's horrible opening statement in the concurrent NY criminal case - "he's got sh*t to work with" to make his arguments.

I don't like using a Tesla for Uber rides due to the lack of manual door releases & I don't trust the electronics in an accident. There's no way I'm getting into a driverless one for a ride home. Meanwhile, I spent just over $25k on my 2018 compact hatchback and presume the next one will be an EV.

When I was on the road for my company full time, I used to deliberately book lower end business hotels, like Homewood Suites or Hilton Garden Inns, because they didn't charge extra for internet or exercise room access. Many of the high-end properties from the same company nickel & dimed you.

IANAL, but I have watched "Law&Order." I suspect the feds, which asked the states to pause their fake elector investigations in early 2022 (only GA continued) , made a decision last year to concentrate on the national conspiracy leaders and let the states go after the actual electors.
