Sometimes it's hard to think about how we as ordinary people try and combat some of the big problems in this world...Thinking oh someone "big" has got it...
it's hard to remember that small acts of decency and doing right in our own community is sowing the seeds for the big solutions to take hold.

I would not say it's in spite of her upbringing. Her experience showed her that around men, women have no plans of their own, so any plan of hers would have to be hers alone to have a chance of working. She is also likely an introvert, and craving privacy she could never get is very understandable.

I think this format works very well for what she's conveying, essentially a collection of childhood memories. My memories are like that, collection of small things, little scenes, not a long coherent narrative. So it feels natural and unforced and relatable. #SBBC

#SBBC The ones who got me most are the ones that start innocently and then turn, sometimes you can see it coming like in "There was an old woman..." and other times not right away, like "Edna's Ruthie". Makes you think how often tragedy is buried under the mundane.

She went to the hospital twice and was told to go home. Doctors told her the pregnancy was non viable.
She went home, self managed her miscarriage, and is now being criminally charged.
Her name is Brittany Watts.
