Really, this does make it easier on knowing which tweets to ignore; they now have blue check marks for my convenience.

I know that with the endless insanity that's taken place in America over the last few years, it feels overwhelming and because you feel like you can't fix everything, why fix anything. Don't give up though or the bad guys win. What can you do?

Pick one thing that really matters and fix that.

Fox News hosts purposely fed their audience dangerous lies and rhetoric about election fraud despite knowing it was BS, which led to a Jan. 6 insurrection that ended up killing people.

Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity have blood on their hands.

Most mask studies coming out recently only prove that masks don't work if not worn. That's it.

Seatbelts also do not work if not buckled. They don't need studies to prove that.

People forget that Jimmy Carter was a physicist and not just a peanut farmer. He’s a very humble man.

Jimmy Carter and 21 other Americans, basically saved Ontario, Canada from armageddon in 1952 - 90 seconds at a time and with the knowledge that they could be seriously injuring or even killing themselves.

And he never really talked about it.

An interesting thing in this article -- apparently historians are re-evaluating Carter's presidency. I've always opined that he was a far better POTUS than he's been given credit for.

Keep hearing that MAiD is about choice without acknowledging that too many Canadians have been stripped of dignity, autonomy AND choice throughout lives as a result of being made marginalized by policies.
This just continues it.

Immunotherapy's been one of the greatest adds to cancer therapy in recent years. With immune dysregulation being a highly possible effect of Covid, we just might be losing out on the war against cancer again.https://medicine.wustl.edu...

Used to do cancer research. It's a topic I hold dear.
Previously thought to be purely genetic in nature, it's now been found out that there are external factors that can affect the way genes are changed that may lead to oncogenesis. Hence, the term epigenetics.

Mental health care, social determinants of health including poverty care & the drug poisoning crisis.
And with what we're seeing more of everyday with COVID effects: we really will need to bolster primary care/cardiac/neuro/dementia/mov't disorder/resp/psychiatry care! 😥

If resources & attention are disproportionately allocated to MAiD, aren't we in fact restricting choice, under the guise of choice & autonomy?

We must improve palliative care access, at home, upstream, in hospitals, LTC & hospices, & bolster chronic disease, dementia & cancer care!!

In 1968 Shirley Chisholm ran for and won a seat in Congress. She was the first Black woman ever elected to that body.

In 1972 she ran for the President of the United States. Ms. Chisholm was a leader in so many ways. Neither being a woman or a POC stopped her from pursuing her dreams.

Musk sitting next to Rupert Murdock at the #SuperBowl is the Muskiest Muskito thing Musk can do to show people where he’s at and if you’re wondering where that is? It’s turning Twitter into Truth Social 2.0 and having Starlink stop service in Ukraine.
