Bill Clinton banned assault weapons in 1994; mass shootings dropped by 43%.

George W. Bush and the GOP let the assault weapons ban expire in 2004; mass shootings increased by 245%.

These numbers tell the whole story.

I finally bought a device to digtaltize all my families 8mm films.

This such an emotional journey.

I miss my parents and it's great to see them laughing and smiling again.

Print your pictures. Digitaltize your film.

My siblings and our kids are loving these memories.

Praying on the house floor. Besides that pesky separation of church and state. They'd have a cow if someone brought out a prayer rug, pointed at Mecca, and prayed. Or came in wearing a colander and spouted from the gospel of the flying spaghetti monster. It's performative and disrespectful.

There would be way fewer mass shootings if we had universal healthcare including mental health, universal education, a living wage, plentiful paid time off for vacation, family, personal & sick days, & strict gun laws.

The only way that will ever happen is by voting Blue.

My entry for the #ThreadChallenge recounts how i met my closest friend after writing a letter to a comic book in 1991, and per him, ending up saving his life.

As an aside, the same year as our first letter, I met Stevie Nicks briefly and asked her to autograph the comic book across the letter. She did, but I was so star struck, it didn't come to my mind to tell her the story. 😢

Since too many among liberals and Democrats need to be talked off the ledge about Speaker Mike Johnson, keep in mind that on Jan. 6th, 2025, the House will be run by Democrats. The new Congress will be sworn in on Jan. 3rd, 2025, and there is no way Republicans hold the House in 2024...IF WE VOTE.

There is something that people need to understand. The next Congress is sworn in on January 3, 2025, The 2024 election is certified on January 6, 2024 so if Democrats take back the House, Speaker Hakeem Jeffries, not Mike Johnson will certify the next election.
