My dracaena surculosa is sending out a new shoot of leaves and it’s very pretty. I’m surprised to see new growth in the very middle of winter, but maybe that’s more common than I’m aware of—this is the first new growth it’s had in the 2.5 years I’ve had it. #Houseplants

However, a ban reduces access, particularly for school children whose parents can't afford to buy books, and that's not good.
Librarians who buy books are trained in collection development. They do not buy books willy nilly.

Book banning transfers the librarian's educated decisions about what books are appropriate for specific collections and puts it in the hands of untrained individuals who are making decisions for other people's children.
