In the UK, the best selling single of 1960 was 'She Loves You' by The Beatles, the best selling album 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band', ditto. Beatles all round!

We need Johnson's honours list revoking now. That and the Tories out for good.

Cold War Steve is some kind of genius. I recently bought a copy of his coronation/May Day triptych. Just need to get it framed.

Here in the UK, some of us have been following for a week or two the story on Twitter of a stolen baby donkey. Today we heard that she has been found and reunited with her Mum. Lovely news. Her name is Moon.

I've been told that the complete saying is 'the customer is always right in matters of taste'. What a shame that the latter part of it appears to be largely lost.

Thomas abandoned his wife, leaving her to raise 3 children alone. When my grandmother Emma married my grandfather, William George Elphin Bentley, Josephine moved in with them, until her death in Southport, UK, in 1944. My father has very fond memories of his American grandmother.

I do like it here, I want to like it more. It's heavily US focussed, and I find myself peripheral more often than not. It's quite understandable, and it is still early days, but for now I'll be hanging around Twitter a while longer.

I've heard that several times too. Unfortunately, that's not how a hereditary monarchy works. We just have to take whoever is next, like it or not.

It's certainly not jolly, not for most people anyway. Distraction techniques, throw a taxpayer-funded, obscenely expensive shindig like yesterday, and we'll all forget the crippling cost of living crisis, and a tory government bent on asset-stripping and rights removal.

Costing UK taxpayers upwards of £250 million at a time when we have more foodbanks than McDonalds, and are in the grip of a cost of living crisis. Obscene.

I know, and I will. I can just see the mass of activity from the US, some of which I can join and quite a lot I can't, and would like to find that here rather than over there. Hopefully it will follow.

So do I. I'm not even sure how to vote next week. We have Tories, Labour and Lib Dem. I was hoping for Green or Independent. It might have to be Lib Dem as the best of the worst. Whatever, it's a miserable situation, and I would pay an alien to abduct me at this point.

Yes. Even when I understand the topic, I'm hesitant about responding. I feel like it's not my business, and I should stay out of it. I get it, there are loads more on here from the US than anywhere else. It just feels like I'm on my own a lot of the time. Hopefully that will change as time passes.
