Remember this is a CIVIL TRIAL. There (at least in NY) if you plead the 5th - that MAY be used by jury (or judge) to conclude you are guilty of what you avoid answering. In a criminal trial they may not assign guilt to pleading 5th

Because the Diet Dutchess of Dr Pepper has already confessed, the judge can revoke her plea bargain, take the confession, and go straight to sentencing. Give her that 5 year mandatory minimum, to teach all others that when you flip against Trump, you will also stay flipped.
