I hope that Ukraine can accomplish everything they want to during the Spring offensive. The recovery and reconstruction costs are at $411 bn. I have hope they will drive the Russians away and can start rebuilding soon.

Spoutible feels much calmer. I don’t get anxious reading replies. A friend said that the bird app made me more upset. I’d abandon 🐦 altogether but I still get a lot of news there. I’d really like to see more news/journalists here. Looking forward to the app. Thank you!

I take a breath of relief, after leaving Twitter and signing into Spoutible.
You Christopher Bouzy is a true leader in bringing respect to your site.
I don’t want an extension of Twitter. It feels different here.

There is no safety in the cyberspace. If I thought Spoutible is abusing my information, I would not use it. Bad actors are on every platform. The people I follow appear to be sane. I blocked one poster because I found her boring.

I've never felt particularly unsafe so I don't feel the refuge vibe, but I appreciate seeing how Spoutible attempts to make others feel safe. I worry (as I would in any platform) whether principles can be applied fairly to all, but that's an implementation issue rather than a site philosophy issue.

I haven't received any direct messages here. On the bird app, I received messages every day from strange men wanting to know "how I feel today" or whatever. Did they think it was a dating site? Much better here, with polite discourse and positive interactions.

Yes I feel safe here because I know that if bots or trolls or misinformation is being spread, we can report it and know that it will be removed posthaste. And it feels more like discussions here rather than hate-filled rants.

Yes, I do feel safer here. Mr Musk is actively encouraging Trolls & bots on Twitter under the guise of “ free speech”. I spent way too much time blocking bots 🤖 over at Twitter. Bot-sentinel & the other tools you put in place makes this a great place to hang out.

I do feel as safe as one can on social media here on Spoutible. I like feeling calm and relaxed more. Able to talk to folks even if we don't agree on everything and am meeting new people with similar interests. It's a place I can come to chill and be social, I don't take that for granted.

YES, good collegiality & respectful interaction, yes

NO, via a very recent change in URL rendering for links. I can't tell from the revised link image preview what is destination site. I LOVED it before when you included full link. Unknown destination? I won't click/tap or spout🔗

It's not just about feeling safe. No Reply Guys coming around whining about stupid sh*t means I don't have to shoulder the emotional and cognitive workload of micromanaging my posts and feed.

I have to deal with massive cognitive workload IRL. I don't want the same in my social media.

It most definitely does. I don't feel people are judged here. We've seen you definitely don't tolerate bullying; you've been quick to identify them and block them.
I feel calm here, which makes me feel safe.
Thank you for asking!

Yes—except for that one time when I asked a couple of genuine questions about the whole NTL thing…A few users lashed out instead of being helpful making me🤔more. Haven't been seriously attacked on🐦. Their algo even hid a reply to me disparaging🐳. At least🐳tools worked blocking the trigger happy.

Was rarely attacked on Twitter so safety didn't affect me personally.

But I was alarmed by all the haters after Elon took over & became Hater-In-Chief. This place seems more civil, quicker to block & ban the haters. You & your team get big kudos. It's why I tout it to friends targeted by haters

Unlike Twitter, where people attack, bully, and mock (often for no apparent reason), I feel free to post on Spoutible because I don't fear those cruel reactions!
Spoutible is *real* people, with *real* senses of honesty, fairness, kindness, & politeness.
I never feel nervous about posting here!!

I feel safe on Spoutible because I can express an opinion and not get attacked or threatened. I also feel safe in the sense that I don't tense up over some horrible bully. It's quiet and calm here.

Spoutible makes me feel safe on a social media platform. As a Jewish "woke" woman I no longer worry about anti-semites attacking one of my posts, or haters of any kind in my "feed". The people here are kind, caring and intelligent. The interactions are friendly, honest and polite. Spoutible rocks!

So far, yes, I do feel safe. But, over on the old bird app, I used the block button a lot. Not necessarily because I was being attacked, but because I saw posts I didn't want to even see as comments on other people's accounts.
