I'm still educating myself tbh about my community. Like that whole cut the T away mentality that some Asexual ppl were embracing. Made me think about how a lot of ppl are more than one letter of our community. And so inevitably some in the A were advocating abandoning Asexual Transgender ppl too.

To be more specific. Cause I think this can confuse those who are still educating themselves about the LGBTQIA community. I'm Demipansexual. I'm an Asexual person who has no intimate desires without love. But that love is not restricted to a person' sex or their gender. Because of my Pansexuality.

Why I consider myself the Q tho as well as A. I am Demipansexual. Demisexuals are on the Asexual spectrum. But what makes me queer or Q is the Pansexual part. Which is not the same as Bisexual. Pansexuals are capable of falling in love with someone regardless of sex & gender or gender identity.

But as someone whose favorite animal mama is the orangutan it inevitably makes me reflect on the fact they are sadly so endangered. And I think about how deeply a mama orangutan must be affected should she lose her baby & imagine the grieving period to be much longer than other animal mothers.
