Now, when we get that call about a threat made to a school or see an increased presence of LEOs—it sets us on edge. We’ll never fully recover, especially since our government allows gun lobbyists to buy their allegiance and compliance. It’s a disgusting betrayal. 3/3

When the notification went out about an active shooter—we didn’t know which school because they locked all schools in the area down at first. As the details came out, our community was absolutely devastated & shaken to the core. 2/3

I’m still weird & even awkward at times, but I’m less cringe in that I’m more aware of my behaviors. I also used to think I was smarter than most & was embarrassingly boastful about it. However, as I learned more about the world, I’ve realized that I don’t know as much as I thought. It’s humbling.

Yeah, I don’t eat out much because of that knowledge. So, I try to remind myself that a little bit of cockroach isn’t likely to kill me and it can’t be much different than the times I’ve accidentally swallowed live flies.🤷‍♀️ I think…

Lol. It’s gross. It reminded me to tell my teen to clean his bathroom. I also couldn’t believe what I was reading! So, naturally, I had to share it with everyone else.

Yep! Also, if you use a MacBook & link it with your iPhone, you can click the Chrome icon(with a phone icon that indicates you’re using it on your iPhone) in your MB dock to take you straight to the page you’re looking at on your phone.🙂 It’s probably the same with Safari, but I rarely use it.

I’m signed in using Chrome on my iPhone. I haven’t tried Safari yet. I also haven’t tried from a desktop/laptop. It’s a little spotty via mobile browser, though. It hasn’t timed out this morning, so that’s a positive sign. I couldn’t get it to load a few times yesterday.

Agreed. There are a few others I would add to that list, though! SN: I’ve considered jumping back into journalism, but it’s been several years since I worked as one. It’s a tough role (it was for me anyway), to be honest.

Also, my look has changed. I uploaded a different profile pic than my Twitter. I have a newer one (I had to cut my hair off two months ago after Covid infection), but I can’t decide on which one to use.

I’m definitely still figuring it out! I don’t even know if my reply to @cbouzy posted.😅 It was my first one, so I verified and thought it posted. But—I can’t find it to fix the spelling of a word I caught right as I went to verify.🤦‍♀️

Definitely! I expected the lag because it was a massive undertaking. I really love the feel of the UI—when it’s not timing out, of course. I think it’s going to be a great replacement for Twitter.
