PSA: “candy rainbow fentanyl” is totally not a thing for Halloween except a GOP scare tactic. Think about it, drug dealers have plenty of willing adult customers so why would they try to lure children, a customer base with no money of their own? And why would they give away product for free?

Oh, yes, we were glad to HAVE insurance via Obamacare, but it still wasn't cheap, even a high-deductible plan, and we had nightmarish interactions with Medica and MNSure.

With Advantage plans, one is subject to being "in network". Are your fave docs and clinics in network? Covered out-state? Etc.

My statement regarding spamming, inauthentic activity, and targeted harassment.

Dear Spoutible users,
Yesterday, an individual created a fake account under the name “Vootin” with the intention of spamming hashtags and disseminating falsehoods. Initially, we chose not to immediately suspend the account to leverage this incident as an opportunity to test our automatic alert system and evaluate how Spoutible’s user base would react to the troll.
We received an overwhelming response, with over 700 reports being submitted by Spoutible users, indicating a high level of concern regarding this individual’s behavior. Most Spoutible users did not engage with the account and chose to block it instead. We believe that if not for the “Making Waves” section, the troll’s actions would have gone unnoticed and only affected a small number of users.
To prevent future incidents of spamming and to avoid the manipulation of the “Making Waves” section, we are implementing new safeguards. We are developing new algorithms that can automatically suspend accounts found to be engaging in sp...

There is no way an account like Bot Sentinel would be suspended without Elon's approval. And we never used the Spoutible account, so it's weird they would suspend it. Today was a sucky day, but we start again tomorrow. Spoutans don't quit.

To be clear, besides Bluesky, I support the other Twitter alternatives. Of course, I want people to use Spoutible, but I hope the others will succeed. The reason why I am not supporting Bluesky is because I have seen how Jack treats marginalized communities. Bluesky will be just as toxic as Twitter.
