True. That’s what makes launching a social media site particularly hard though, and why so many die off. They live on user base and interaction. The more there are things that people don’t have the more they will disconnect or slow the site usage. Which makes growth harder.

Certainly not bouzys fault but I think it’s also a real issue. I don’t necessarily know how to fix it, but people want certain things and if they aren’t provided it shrinks the user base. And in the end the user base is the heart of all these things.

I mean yeah. The more I revisit it here the more I think of things I want. This is less of an actual thing Spoutible can provide than something I’m crowdsourcing. That all said I deleted my Twitter. So I’m trying to lean in here.

It’s hard to believe someone could spend that much money and just make everything shittier. It’s like buying Ford and then taking the doors off all the cars.

I think the iOS app is going to be the moment for many of us where we can finally break ourselves free if the bird app dumpster fire.

This might be the stake. I also think it is not unlikely this is a flat out lie because Twitter is just collapsing under the weight of its terrible management.

This is fair. And I also didn't realize we were still preregistered only. That does make quite a bit of sense.

All this said, maybe I'm missing some accounts that I should be following. Do we have journalists here yet?

This is the problem that Gab and Parler and Truth Social etc faced. "It's twitter, but for Nazis!"

This currently is "Twitter, but for sane liberals!" Which is obviously better, but some of the fun of twitter is mixing it up. At least with sane people.

It's still very early so I hope as it gains more acceptance we see more people come over. I don't really know how you pull it off. It seems incredibly hard.

Also incredible that they apparently offer shitty healthcare. Talk shit all you want about corporate America (and you'll probably be mostly right), but our healthcare is on point.

We all knew they never had any intention of governing. Because frankly they haven't cared a bit about governance since the Eisenhower administration.

I’ve spent my life lobbying, mostly for a large international corporation. I would love to lobby for a liberal group but I’m not going to take a 75k pay it to do it. Liberals lose when we don’t understand power. The GOP is fucking nuts but they spent 50 years building.

Apparently the full length of the link counts. Hmmm. I'm sure that will get worked out.
