I don't disagree, but I think organic growth is probably more healthy than showing up being the instant "next big thing" and being overwhelmed with users (along with trolls and other bad actors). Maybe this place never becomes enormous. But for myself, I don't need it to be.

Spoutible has never endeavored to be the social media w/o journalists. Bouzy has always been clear that actively promoting the site would follow after the apps released. That said, journalists have joined, and many have gone quiet. It's not Spoutible's fault the media is pimping BlueSky and Threads.

When I joined Spoutible, I was not expecting it would endeavor to be the social media w/o journalists.
The absence of journalists here will result in the absence of govt, elected, and candidate accounts. 😥

Thank you for your patience. The code works flawlessly on our staging servers, but on production, there is a delay with spouts posting. We have identified the issue, but we will have to use the old code until Monday. The good news is the search is lightning fast on our production servers.

Spoutible is working. People are having lively debates, and sharing thoughts and ideas without the hate we see on other platforms. I have already noticed negative individuals are receiving less engagement than others with fewer negative spouts.

To be fair, I don't think the 'other side' would be that interested in a Twitter alternative and therefore signup for the preregistration... They have twitter, with their godking running it... After the doors open that may change, as people leave twitter, the trolls may want to come argue still :)
