To this day if I see an actor from that movie on a British mystery series or drama, I will yell, ‘hey, Chariots of Fire!’ and startle Mrs. Kettlecorn with my observation.

My mom bought me a little Casio keyboard when I was 11, and was overjoyed when I learned how to pick out "Chariots of Fire" on it. Neither of us liked the movie much, but we loved the music.

I remember seeing this movie in the theatre with my mum. She so rarely went to see movies with the kids. And she loved this song so much, she played the dub tape we made for her until it warped. Chariots of Fire will forever remind me very fondly of my mother ❤️🔥
