For 15yrs I worked on a futuristic trilogy. It failed because I started rewriting it halfway through, then got stuck again before hitting the middle. Then the real world started being too much like what I'd imagined... 😬

Psychiatrist's colleagues said I should be put on the lowest dose of a med to check for tolerance of it.
I've declined that for now. I want to talk with my GP and neurologist (who diagnosed my MdDS) 1st. Also I've just had a bit of a revival re my writing & I really don't want to mess that up.

I've already stated how hesitant I am to take medication for ADD as most are stimulants, and my MdDS symptoms generally GO OFF THEIR ROCKER if I take anything more stimulating than a barista-made mocha. 🥴🤪🤢

I'm currently being assessed for ADD (or Inattentive ADHD). My psychiatrist said he'll reference my predicament with #MaldeDebarquement Syndrome, which exacerbates presumed ADD symptoms [making diagnosis tricky], at a conference in July.

The fun thing about writing a chapter where the scenes don't work at the time you're writing them is that you can bring them in later where they do. Then you write segue paragraphs at the start & end before going on your merry way to where the next previously written scene could be. 😵 #amwriting
