Seriously, these nutjobs say things as if we can't quickly fact-check what they say in near real-time. If people believe him, it is because 1) they are lazy or 2) he justifies their hatred.

It's pretty ridiculous that they use the word, liberty, in their name because they are NOT about that. I don't understand why conservatives live in such fear and ignorance. I guess it is because of all the arrogance they carry around.

In Texas, where I recently retired from education, we have had the mandatory moment of silence in place for years. The separation of church and state seems to always be threatened in some form or another every year.

And many Chinese who were turned away ended up immigrating to Mexico, Central and South America. My family in the 1800s was living in Mexico and in family stories, they have said that they worked with or knew many Chinese immigrants. And yes, this needs to be taught!

That is pathetic! We need to reverse Citizens United which opened the floodgates for this money. With this SCOTUS though, it will not happen.

He is a fool, and a dangerous one at that, as he has the money backing him, plus unfortunately his name. I'm glad other Kennedys have come out against him.

Something is wrong with him psychologically. Or he thinks this is really funny which it isn't. If I worked at one of his companies, especially Tesla, I would be wary.

That is a much bigger crime IMHO, but I wasn't expecting 34 counts against TFG in New York either.

While I certainly agree with this sentiment in regards to the hegemony that the conservatives have had in Texas, Texas' real problem is voter apathy. As a result we have to deal with the extremists on the right that have taken over. Roughly 10 million Texans did not vote in the last elections. 😣

Hopefully, MTG will talk and some people will actually think that she is not right our country. It will not change the views of the vehemently MAGA people. Amplifying her voice, though, comes with risks.

I love that place, and I have been several times, but never at migration because it conflicted with a busy time of year at work. Now that I am retired, I plan on making it down there for migration in the coming years.

It is depraved. Schools are supposed to be safe havens for obvious reasons. I hate the Texas Republicans and have so pretty much since GW was governor in the 90s.

I am from Texas and a retired educator. I personally have been fighting for the rights of children since 1995. We fight tooth and nail against these fools. We do everything we can to give our Texas kids a quality education, but it is difficult when the state government has been against us.
