Thanks to @benjclark , who gave me a private tour of the Schulz museum, I got to see the original first script page of A Charlie Brown Christmas. It's so delicate, they can't display it.

Good Grief! When I saw this on my timeline, I thought it was a Twitter joke. Nope. @benjclark is an account all things Charlie Brown. I am so looking forward to the app that is coming WITH NOTIFICATIONS that our favorite accounts have spouted. It’s a game changing feature!

Today in things I didn't need to buy : a circa 1934 Kiddie Kamera w/ a mostly complete box, 2 strips (one Moon Mullins, one I haven't figured out yet), & the winding pin.

These - and their near twin the Komic Kamera - were advertised in early comic books. #comics

I loved the interview with his wife, and l liked how he stood by his guns when Franklin was introduced.

Also hung up some original comic strip art. Top to bottom = Ramona Fradon on "Brenda Starr", Gene Byrnes (mostly likely ghosted) on "Reg'lar Fellers", and the amazing Edwina Dumm on "Tippie". #comics #art

Some of my all-time favorite comics art happened when Al Wiseman, an uncredited artist on the Dennis the Menace comic books, would just shove the characters aside and flex with a truly impressive establishing shot.
